Nathaniel Malgwi

Mr. Nathaniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Agriculture, Animal Science Honors, Proficiency Certificate; Global Health Diplomacy Course, Gender and health system strengthening, M&E Fundamentals, Gender and M&E, Data quality Family Planning Counseling, Nutrition (An Introduction) (USAID/Johns Hopkins BLOOMBERG School of Public Health), Agribusiness plan development (IITA/EKIMIKS) and MBA (Project management in view).

Over the past 8 years I have served in several roles in projects I am also a practicing farmer (Crop and Livestock). This has given me the opportunity to understand specific procedures and Policies as handled by international organizations.

I am currently working as a state Coordinator of Young Africa Works-IITA project in Kano State, and have also worked as Input Distribution Coordinator at Intrio Synergy Limited, an Agro-allied company with both local and International partners. I manage the procurement and distribution of inputs to over 240 thousand farmers across nine states. I am a business owner and an active practicing farmer.

I also have a professional experience in Baseline Survey Field-Data Collector/Monitoring and Evaluation (IITA Youth Agriprenuers), using Open Data Kit Collect (ODK) and Kobo collect.

I am also well advanced in Planning, implementing, monitoring, sensitizing and evaluating Agribusiness activities. Having over 2 years with IYA (IITA Youth Agriprenuers) Abuja, in coordination with other stakeholders involved. I have volunteered in training farmers on how to use ODK collect, good agronomic practices (GAP) in Borno, Kaduna, Niger and Sokoto states in collaboration with N2Africa project of IITA.
